Website Design Project Workflow

Our projects follow a time-proven workflow involving customer feedback checkpoints throughout.  The process involves three sequential phases, concluded by a fourth, the live launch of the completed website.

office foldersPhase I :: Consultation & Planning

In person, by email, phone, or chat we gather information about [a] the purpose of the website, [b] desired functionality and content, and [c] the client's design sensibilities that may guide our lead designer in draftng the mockup.  A timeline, workscope and specifications are documented and incorporated into a project agreement.

artworkPhase II :: Design

The client provides design aides (logo, font & color information, photos & graphics, downloadable documents, etc.) and copy (i.e., written content for the webpages).  A final composition is concluded following reviews by the client, and revisions of the photoshop mockups by the designer.  All project assets & milestones are managed & monitored by both the customer & project staff via browser-based management software.

html filePhase III :: Development

The final composition becomes a functioning website as the coding of the web pages begins.  Development involves client reviews of the work-in-progress viewed on the development domain we provide.  Development concludes when the project specifications and scope are met, and the website code has been tested and debugged.
